A tournament forum post
Lay out the information, schedule, rules, staff and mappools of a tournament.
A tournament's forum post is where players look for everything: when it runs, who can join, the rules and the mappools. Most posts follow the same shape, and boxes keep a long one tidy.
The shape
- A banner or a heading, centred.
- A short notice with the one thing people must not miss, like the registration deadline.
- One box per topic: information, schedule, rules, prizes, staff, mappools and links.

Rules
A numbered list keeps rules easy to point at in an argument. Any value after list= makes it numbered.

- Be on time for your match.
- Warm-ups are one map, under five minutes.
- Disconnects are replayed if they happen in the first 30 seconds.
Staff
Link every staff member to their profile, with their id so the link survives a name change. A flag in front of each name looks good in a staff list; the flags guide covers them.
Mappools
Give each round its own box, with one line per map: the slot, then a link to the beatmap. A mappool box per round lets people open only the round they're playing.
Before you post
- Check the counter. A big tournament post with many colored lines can come close to the 60,000 character limit.
- Every wavy underline in the editor is something that will look wrong on osu!.
